Crossfire's customers represent a diverse client base from an impressive array of market segments listed below.
Healthcare
As part of the largest US Federal Government funded healthcare grant ever awarded, a major metropolitan healthcare medical center in cooperation with four other prominent national healthcare institutions needed to extend patient information and sophisticated disease management applications to patients in medically underserved areas using the Internet. Included were the ability to securely connect patients with a comprehensive healthcare team of PCP's (Primary Care Physicians), case managers, nurses, specialists and project team members associated with five major regional medical centers to monitor and adjust patient care as determined by direct patient input, telemedicine visits and team assessment.
Crossfire turn-keyed a HIPAA compliant Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) based secure extranet system providing strong authentication of patients and care team members to patient focused applications, encryption over the Internet, data integrity, authorization management and single sign-on across multiple applications. The project also required the integration of IP address, SecureID and digital certificate authentication management across existing and new web-based applications. Crossfire not only provided a system to meet these needs, but provided a single sign-on capability to reduce end user anxiety and simplify the user experience. Now patients, physicians, nurses and case managers can securely communicate sensitive patient information using the Internet with the objective of delivering care and improving outcomes to medically underserved areas.

Telecommunications Company
Our client for this software development project has rapidly growing operations, and was looking for a way for their management to keep up with their growth. The goal for the client was a systematic and more efficient way to track their people and their work, as opposed to the manual processes that they were currently employing. The core of the application portal being developed is a human resources system for maintaining detailed employee records as well as past and present management chain information. This core application then feeds into a host of applications built downstream from it. The additional applications in this portal include a performance tracking system which automatically feeds in employee job performance and progress information for quick and easy review by management, a scheduling system for faster assignment and tracking of employee overtime, and a time management tracking system which allows for easy supervisory review of employee reliability. Building a core application first allowed the development team to work on multiple additional applications within the portal simultaneously and forces data consistency across all applications within the portal.
Automobile Insurance Company
A top U.S. Automobile Insurance company required a fully managed and integrated data security and management platform that enabled their business to create secured "communities of interest" linking employees, suppliers, partners and customers to conduct a variety of business-to-business transactions using the public Internet. Crossfire furnished a world class system that provides strong mutual authentication, encryption, data integrity, authorizations and non-repudiation capabilities in a single service platform. Platform includes the creation of a community-based Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) that provides the latest in public key cryptographic security services with a web security system and unique administrative tools to manage authorization and access control privileges for multiple web-based information resources and user groups residing throughout a defined "community of interest."
